EPS figures calculated from Net Profit / 600,000,000 shares outstanding. AGTHIA share price as of 29 Jan 2009 was 1.14 dhs, so 2008 estimated PE is about 1.14 / 0.12 = 9.5, based on Q4 earnings, which is higher than many other companies with low single figure PEs, then again, Agthia isn't dealing in property or shares. 2008 PE based on FY earnings is 1.14 / 0.12 = 9.4, which is about the same.
Agthia earnings have been relatively stable through 2008, varying from AED 16m in Q3 to AED 19.5m in Q2, and are about double the corresponding quarters in 2007 hence earnings almost doubled for the financial year overall. Agthia earnings were steady at about AED 9-10m per quarter during 2007, from 07Q4 to 08Q1 Net Profit doubled but through 2008 there wasn't much change after that. If there's no earnings growth from there, it's unlikely there'll be much share price growth.
No dividend or AGM date information seen. Agthia shares rose 2.6% to AED 1.17 today while the Abu Dhabi market edged down by 0.2%.
