DARTAKAFUL 2008 Q3 loss Dh-0.63m 11 Nov 2008

Takaful House 2008 Q3 report

Dar Takaful Insurance (DARTAKAFUL) financial results for third quarter 2008 are (EPS annualised in brackets):

2008 Q3 loss = AED -0.631m, EPS = -0.01 dhs (-0.04 )

EPS figures calculated from Net Profit / 100,000,000 shares outstanding.

As Takaful House did not make a profit for the quarter, PE calculation is not very useful. Average PE for the UAE stockmarkets is about 11 for 2008 Q3 but Islamic insurance companies often trade at PEs much higher than that.

Takaful House shares so far this morning are 10% limit down this morning with no buyers in the queue.
