Online trading link doesn't appear to use SSL, at least not on the login page. Maybe once you're logged in it goes to https. I don't have an account there myself so can't check. Anyone else know?
Reading the about us page it sounds like they're online for DFM and possibly ADSM. At least, that's their goal.
Comprehensive glossary on the home page.

I set up an account with these folks through a friend earlier this year. They are dealing with both exchanges and use the Dubai Islamic Bank as their depositing account. The SSL is a genuine worry but the home page has a very good selection of links to the finance / banking sector and their call centre folks are pretty prompt.
Have to prefer EIB however since the live bank account link makes the whole process that much easier to manage from a beachside internet cafe in Thailand.

I am a user of alrouad and is using itfor quite some time. I am quite satisfied with the service. As i checked their live rate updation using their realtime option it proved to be the fastest in the market compared to other stock firms.
ANd their site is also fully SSL and they use their own certificate. The trading site is also seemed to be fully audited by 3rd party and is certified by paladion.
i spoke to one of their technical guys and they even informed me that they will shift the site to verisign SSL soon.
And functionally, u will get all the details on the main screen along with your Statement of acoounts. so u need not to call the accounts & settlement guys again and again.
They also have a good sms alerts supporting the trading site... it seems they regularly try to enhance their site....
This is my experience... i invite u all to share yours... to experience better trading...
have a nice day...
