HI..Can anybody tell me what is the last date to hold ARTC for Dividend taking and what was their Divident percentage in 2008...

They announce usually

Hi,

ARTC announce their YEAR END results in Jan usually and also announce their pay out as well.

For the year 2008 they announce 100% Bonus shares.

Since their listing in 2005 they have never skip dividend. which is good track record.

We can call it a BLUE CHIP company. Smile

For year 2009 is any body guess but over all their Profit & Loss account is much better compare to others.

To entitle any such bonus or cash dividend you have to hold till the book closure which they announce accordingly.

Lets hope & pray for the best.

Hi,

To be very frank & fair do not expect the 2008 results & pay out.

Before September 2008 the world was a different place.

To much expectation brings too much disappointments.

It is my experience.

So wait & watch.

Please assist

Beginner question Smile, can anyone explain to if there is a minimum period for holding the share or is it that if u just got the share on 30th December u will be entitled for dividend for the year that passed?

Normally what happens is that the company will announce dates, and on that particular date who ever is a shareholder will be entitiled for the dividend's. The dates are normally announced during or before the AGM and EGM, which happens in the first quarter of the year. I have not seen in UAE markets that holding a share on 30th or 31st December entitiles you for dividends.

So wait for communication from the company on what divident they will be providing and what the ENTITILEMENT date wil be.

My question is when is their cut off date this yr...been going thru many posts...but nobody explains in plain english if the deal between Abaar and Artc went thru...and if It did, how r we affected...

Will we get any dividend?

there is no merger (i.e. if you mean AABAR); it got called off.

I highly doubt there will be a dividend considering ARABTEC's cash flow crisis...
